The Wine SurvivorTraining is a fun way to hone group skills in leadership, strategy, logistics, cooperation and of course, tasting endurance, while exploring some of the world's most beautiful wine country.
It is geared for a small group from 10 to 50. It starts in a morning meeting room where the ground rules and criteria for success are laid out. Then, maps in hand, the group is divided into teams and assigned their own driver/trainer and an SUV.
They teams depart for the Napa or Sonoma Wine Country with a mission, plot out and enjoy a wine tour. They have the experience of a customized wine tour, rather than a bus trip, where their individual preferences are not only considered, but required to attain their goals and win the team prize.
The training materials include our Custom Maps, Tour Books and Mobile Apps.
We have been speaking and consulting internationally for individuals and companies since 1995 on two parallel topics, environmental design and natural healing.
In 2005 we moved to Wine Country and through writing books about the region found ourselves in the tour business, so we've added our unique Team Training presentation, Wine Survivor!
It combines wine touring with skill building and a chance for your team to be cooperatively innovative while improving their tasting endurance. If you think your team would benefit from this please use the form below.

The fee for this The Wine Survivor starts at $2500.00 plus a cost based on the number of people participating.
Napa & Sonoma, A Love Affair in Maps, A Book
Ralph & Lahni have an interesting perspective on wine country, it's a love affair really, a passion for the place that has resulted in eight books, numerous Apps containing thousands of beautiful photos, and a huge number of tours with clients from around the world. They bring those insights to the audience in an entertaining and educational style using photos, maps and a wonderful collection of stories.
Ralph is often asked how he became so knowledgeable on the subject and he explains, "Napa and Sonoma has more wine educators than anyplace else on the planet. Whenever possible I take the winery tour with my clients, and I incorporate that in our articles, books and Apps. You do that long enough and some of it sticks, hopefully the good stuff."
A speech can also include a sample wine tasting, and there is nothing like getting glasses into the hands of the audience to make everyone feel at home visiting wine country.
