They are located in an historic restored, wooden gravity fed winery from the 1800’s with a great patio and cork oaks. The tasting room is visually connected to the barrel room by a glass wall.The tasting room is spacious and fun and they make estate wines of very high quality, but properly priced.
There are so many reasons to visit Trefethen, including an outstanding Riesling, a grape which is produced by very few Napa wineries. They are one of the first wineries that you come to on the right as you travel up valley on Hwy 29.Wines: Dry Riesling, Viognier, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Late Harvest Riesling. Navigation Note: As you come north on Hwy 29, you turn right at the light at Oak Knoll Ave. The entrance to the winery will be on the left. If you want to continue north on the Silverado Trail, when you come out from the winery turn left, then left at the stop sign and immediately right. That will bring you over Oak Knoll Avenue to the Silverado Trail.
