Traditional Healdsburg Downtown
The winery is located five minutes from the plaza in downtown Healdsburg; the town simply grew up around them. They planted their first vineyards in 1895, and they continue to make good solid wines. The winery has bocce courts, a nice gift section, gracious grounds, and a stunning tasting room that looks through a glass wall at the barrels aging in their cellar.
The tasting bar is nice and long and they have a pretty and diverse gift area. They produce widely respected Italian varietals, and they offer food pairings and library wines. They do great special events that are a lot of fun.
One of the big benefits is their location, just minutes from the Healdsburg plaza, so you can include them in a tour of the downtown tasting rooms, or stop there on the way from one valley to another. Wines: Zinfandel, Arneis, Pinot Grigio, Barbera, Sangiovese, Italian varietals. AWG Rating 89
