They are located
in the center of Kenwood in a rambling, relaxed ranch style building with a
nice staff, well made wines and fun gifts including some unusual items. This is
one of the bigger tasting bars in the valley which means that even on busy
days, there’s plenty of room for visitors. They have a small deli cooler and
more importantly chocolate, a big help later in the tasting day.
Outside are
picnic tables amid the pretty grounds. Because the winery sits on a slight rise,
it provides a pleasant view of the vines and the town of Kenwood. Their Jack
London Vineyards from Sonoma Mountain wines really stand out. Yes, the famous
writer of Call of the Wild lived just up the road.
