Amicis Tours provides custom, private wine tours in Napa and Sonoma, California's Wine Country. Whether you're returning to visit your favorite winery or experiencing the splendor of Wine Country for the first time, let us guide you around Napa and Sonoma Valley in luxury and style!
Our clients' comfort and enjoyment are paramount to us, so if you would like to tour with us there are some things that we'd like to know about you. Have you been to Napa and Sonoma before? Have you ever been wine tasting before? How many people in your party and what is their age range? What is the occasion for your trip? What kind of wines do you like? Are there special wineries that you want to visit? Every one of our tours are unique, based on your interests. The more we know about our clients the better we can fit the tour to them.
A good tour includes a selection of wineries, with some variety and unique qualities, a good picnic spot or restaurant, and the regional and winery history, including a bit of friendly gossip. We feel that it is by listening to our clients that we can best provide the type of dream tours that Napa and Sonoma are so capable of. And of course, we also are happy to guide you in finding the best souvenir of all, a bottle, or a case of wine, or two, along with help getting it home safely for you to enjoy along with the memories. Whether or not you choose to tour with us you'll find that a copy of our book 'Your Day in Wine Country' will help you to plan and navigate the area with the greatest enjoyment. We tour in a luxury Lincoln Navigator with up to six guests. The Navigator allows for panoramic viewing of the gorgeous scenery. We chose the Navigator for many reasons, with safety and comfort being first and foremost. Add to that a quiet ride that makes it easier to converse. It also allows you to hear your guide who knows the area intimately and is happy to share whatever information and stories you would find interesting.

Our car is configured with captain's chairs in
the second row, and the passage between them reduces the sense of
confinement for the three passengers in the third row, who enjoy the
largest amount of third row leg room of any of the popular livery cars.
The 2008 Navigators include special gyroscopic components to
minimize tail end sway for those in the back seats. This is a big
improvement over previous designs, that combined with the forward
facing seats means that there will be less chance for queasy moments,
even on any twisting mountain roads. Our Navigator is four wheel drive
which is very helpful at some of the more exclusive wineries.
